Lucho García and Jero Gonzalez were friends since early days at school where they shared their passion for music. As time went on they played in several different bands, but it was not until the beginnings of 2007 that they decided to join forces to create something different. All they needed were a lead singer and a drummer, so a few days later, they invited Sofi (Lucho`s sister) and Nico Grieco (a friend of a friend) to complete the outfit. A few phone calls and a rehearsal later, BONNIE was born. Not even a month went away, since they got their first gig where they played all sorts of Classic Rock and Pop Covers, leaving the crowd wanting more. Since then, the band was invited to perform in different parties and night clubs and little by little they started creating an audience. Now, while still playing as a cover band in clubs, the band is focusing in song writing and demo recordings of their own creations. Bonnie has just released their first EP titled "Showtime". |
